Important Things to Know
- To view your child's Rec team information throughout the season Click here and login to your Affinity account (be sure to use Internet Explorer as your browser)
- Special requests will be considered but not guaranteed.
- Player's cannot be guaranteed a position on a team if registered beyond deadline dates.

Clash Crashers Under 4 - $45
Under 6 Division - $70

Team Requests
While requests cannot be guaranteed, team requests and “buddy” requests are accepted.
Payment
You may pay for registration with a credit or debit card (Master Card or VISA )

by mailing a personal check, money order, or cashier’s check (made out to “Clash Soccer/CBYSA”) to P.O. Box 2018, Cartersville, GA 30120.
Returned Check Fee
You will be charged $25 for any returned checks and your player will not be placed on a team until your account is paid in full.

11 - Recreational Registration Deadline (registrations accepted on availability only after deadline)
30 - Academy and Select Practices begin
February
11 - U8 and above practices begin
26 - Uniform pick up for U8 and above at the Soccer Office 6:30p -8:30p
March
2 - Season Opening/Games begin
14 - TEAM and Individual PHOTOS U8 and above
21 - U6 parent meet at 6pm at the Cartersville Soccer Complex (directions and locations) and U6 uniform pick up

1-7 - Spring Break NO PRACTICES

Recreational Season Information
AGE GROUP RULES
u8 Rules
- This age group will play 5 v 5 which includes a goalkeeper
- A player may only play goalkeeper for a total of one half [20 minutes].
- All kicks, including goal kicks, corner kicks, kick offs, and kicks resulting from a foul, are indirect.
- Defenders must be in their half of the field on a goal kick.
- Defenders must not be closer than 8 yards to the ball on a corner kick.
- No offside rule.
- Coaches may substitute on their team's throw in, any goal kick or kick off.
The Cartersville Bartow Youth Soccer Association offers a recreational soccer program for those who enjoy the game of soccer. All players will particpate in at least half of each game. Our focus is on teaching basic skills and love of the game. Parents are encouraged to volunteer to coach. Coaching courses and practice plans are provided to give structure to the program. This is a FUN FAMILY environment.
Under 4 - This program, designed for three year olds, introduces kids to an organized activity with other children and a club trainer. The kids meet once a week for about 45 minutes. Instruction includes fun activities that focuses on individual work with a ball. Each child receives a t-shirt.
Under 6 - Designed for four and five years olds, this is the first age group that has teams. Kids meet twice a week for a hour. Each session includes 30 minutes of practice and 30 minutes of games. Practice focuses on improving individual ball skills. Children need to have a uniform to participate. Trophies are provided by the club for every child.
Under 8 - Designed for six and seven year olds. Kids practice twice a week with a separate game on Saturdays. Practices, an hour in length, are designed to improve individual ball skills and introduce the concept of team play. Children need to have a uniform to participate. Trophies are provided by the club for every child.
Under 10-14 - Kids practice twice a week with a separate game, generally on weekends. Practices are an hour to hour and a half in length. All of the rules of soccer are in effect for games. Practices are designed to improve individual ball skills and introduce tactics of the game. Children need to have a uniform to participate. Trophies are not provided by the club.
